Beatles & Elvis for Christmas

The WannaBeatles have a friend, Vince Pinkerton, who helped us make our videos. Vince invited us to play at a special Christmas party at his church, which included an Elvis impersonator.

Vince conceived of the evening as a concert with music from two of the greatest icons of the last century. Here's the poster he designed:
The Elvis impersonator is Michael Lester, whom Vince knew from their days working together at WSMV. We were delighted to discover that Michael, rather than wearing the white jumpsuit and portraying the Vegas period, opts for a rockabilly jacket and performing early Sun Records material. To add authenticity, and humor, Vince and two of his friends worked up some backup vocals on a few songs, calling themselves "The Jordan-Errors."

Here's Dennis catching the Elvis energy.
Here's Elvis with The Jordan-Errors at sound check.
Yes, they did "Blue Christmas."
Here we are onstage with all the Christmas lights.

And here's a brief video of us doing "All My Loving."

And one more shot of us onstage.

It was a fun party, and people enjoyed it. They served holiday goodies and treated us well. Thanks to Vince for a fun show and running our sound, to Good Yoko for photos and video, to Michael Lester for some cool Elvis songs, and New Beginnings Church for hosting the entire evening.
